Huatian Opens 2027 Campus Recruitment, Growing Headcount by More Than Half

Hiring across R&D, manufacturing and service as new campus capacity comes online

WUXI, China — Huatian Gas Turbine has opened its 2027 campus recruitment programme, planning to add approximately 50 graduates to a workforce of about 95 at the end of August 2026 — an increase of more than half in a single intake.
The intake runs against the grain of a sector in which headcount has largely been held flat. It is driven by capacity. The company’s new Huishan campus targets 100 new units and 200 overhauls per year, with six gas turbine test beds complete by March 2027 and a turbine blade precision casting line by June 2027. Those assets need engineers before they need orders.
Recruitment covers the R&D design centre — overall performance, compressor and turbine aerodynamics, combustion, heat transfer, mechanical design, control systems, strength analysis, rotordynamics and vibration, and structural integrity; the manufacturing and supply chain centre — procurement, cost, delivery, assembly, casting, forging, machining and materials process engineering; and service operations, solution engineering and corporate functions.

Compensation is set at the top tier of the Asia-Pacific (APAC) engineering market: RMB 230,000–320,000 ($32K–$45K USD) annually for master’s graduates, RMB 180,000–230,000 ($25K–$32K USD) for bachelor’s graduates, and RMB 110,000–150,000 ($15K–$21K USD) for associate degrees, supported by a full social security and benefits package.
Graduates enter a dual career track — technical, from assistant engineer through engineer and technical specialist to chief specialist; or management, from officer through supervisor and manager to director. Teams are small and flat, with direct access to decision-makers.
Huatian’s core team is drawn from China’s aero engine research institutes, and the company holds independent development capability across the 2–50 MW power range, with business extending into several overseas markets.
