GE10 Major Overhaul

Full-unit overhaul after 77,560 operating hours, including compressor, turbine and combustor component work

After 77,560 operating hours without a major overhaul, the GE10 showed severe external corrosion and component damage. The overhaul scope included replacement of damaged compressor blades except the Stage 0 stator vanes and Stage 1 rotor blades, replacement of out-of-limit Stage 1 and Stage 2 turbine blades, repair of corroded and heat-damaged combustor components, and qualified locally sourced replacements for selected parts and bearings.
