Taurus 60 Major Overhaul

Hot-section repair, clearance restoration and load verification to address declining output and exhaust-temperature spread

The Taurus 60 showed declining output and an abnormal exhaust-temperature spread after extended operation. Inspection identified high-temperature oxidation, hot corrosion and localized wear on first-stage turbine vanes and selected rotor blades. Huatian repaired the affected hot-section components, restored required clearances, and completed unit commissioning and load verification.
