Huatian Builds Huishan Campus into a Full-Chain Industrial Gas Turbine Base

Six engine test beds by March 2027, turbine blade casting line by June 2027, target 100 new units and 200 overhauls per year

WUXI, China — Huatian Gas Turbine is developing a new campus in Huishan, Wuxi, as an integrated base for the manufacture, overhaul, packaging, full-engine testing and core component production of 2 MW to 30 MW class industrial gas turbines.
Phase 1 adds approximately 62,467 m² of production buildings to the existing 6,864 m² — approximately 69,331 m² in total — plus a dedicated outdoor area of approximately 25 mu for engine test beds. Relocation begins in October 2026, with the main production areas converted by the end of the year.

Six gas turbine test beds are to be complete by March 2027, covering T60, T70, T130 and LM2500 among other models. Once operational the campus can take an engine from post-assembly static inspection through cold commissioning, ignition, run-up, no-load and on-load operation and performance verification to factory acceptance entirely on site. The significance is a unified test platform serving different brands and power classes, not simply more test stations.
A turbine blade precision casting line follows in June 2027, designed for approximately 60,000 precision-cast blades per year — roughly 50,000 directionally solidified and single-crystal, and 10,000 equiaxed. The line creates a closed loop of design, casting, assembly, testing and feedback, allowing new materials and localised blades to be validated on a complete engine using the companay’s own test beds.

Capacity rises from a combined 20 units per year today to 100 new units and 200 overhauls per year. The company employed approximately 95 people as of the end of August 2026, expanding with order takt.
